Wearable computing facilitates a new form of human-computer interaction. A small body-worn computer remains always on and ready and accessible, and in this regard, differs from hand held computers, laptops and smartphones. Wearable design: device of eGo project

The H2O project capitalizes on former results from the Catrene eGo project:

The purpose of the H2O project is  to develop a human-centric secured architecture, to support the rapidly emerging wearable Computing  and IoT markets.

The project will investigate the human to object interactions in different application areas of the smart city domain: communication, transportation, e-health and e-retail. Some technology bricks are still missing for the deployment of efficient wearable computing, as demonstrated by the successful eGo project, and all aspects of the new digital lifestyle are not yet fully understood.
